Nels-Tek™ has semi-matte finish providing additional resistance to scratching and denting. This finish diffuses light more naturally eliminating the shiny "plastic look" that appears on many PVC products. It also creates a surface that readily accepts and holds a beautiful and long lasting painted finish. Check your paint supplier as some new paints applied to Nels-Tek™ PVC trim are warranted for up to 25 years.
